LOS ANGELES - Lindsey Buckingham, the lead guitarist and co-lead vocalist of Fleetwood Mac, was hospitalized on February 2, 2019, after suffering a heart attack. The 69-year-old musician is expected to make a full recovery.

Buckingham's publicist, Kristen Foster, confirmed the news in a statement to Rolling Stone magazine. "Lindsey Buckingham is recovering from a heart attack at a Los Angeles hospital," Foster said. "He is expected to make a full recovery."

Buckingham has been a member of Fleetwood Mac since 1975. He has co-written some of the band's biggest hits, including "Go Your Own Way," "Tusk," and "The Chain." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Fleetwood Mac in 1998.
